Staying Connected Day 21 (05-12-2020)

Good morning TEACH Families,

It's been a few days since I send out a Staying Connected post. I figured I'd give you all a break from me :-)

Truth be told, I do miss connecting with all of you, but I also know that you are flooded with messages, pings, and dings and chimes all day from all of us.

We all simply want to stay in touch, keep the students engaged, provide you with information on what is happening with instruction, and give all of you an opportunity to connect with anyone of us regarding any of your needs.

The end of the school year is around the corner, June 12th - that's in exactly one month from today. The next school year will begin and we don't yet know what that will look like. Will the students return to a "traditional" way of instruction or will we remain in this "remote learning" structure or will it be a marriage of the two? No one yet knows, but the powers that be are tracking the data to make decisions that are safe for you and your family.

For now, we will continue with our Remote Learning structure and continue to encourage you in your partnership as educator. Afterall, you were your child's first teacher. I know it is difficult, but also possible.

Thank you,
Ms. Torres
